So let’s take a look at what comes in that Hugo Boss Man of Today kit.
As you would expect, it’s packed with everything you need to be a modern gentleman – complete with Alfred Tong’s handbook to guide you along the way. The kit also includes some grooming essentials, a snack to keep you going, some coffee to keep you going further and some earphones so you can do it all to the beat of your own drum.
Most importantly the kit includes a 100ml bottle of the new Boss Tonic packed with all the spicey gingery notes you need to stand out from the crowd!
Inspired by the Boss Tonic man of today kit I’ve decided to include 3 essentials I believe every modern gentleman needs. In this day in age, simply being well dressed will no longer cut the mustard (whatever that means). The modern man will need to be well groomed, well travelled and of course well read.
To add to your ongoing gentleman education I’ve included 50 Things Every Young Gentleman should know – a simple how-to guide on the daily challenges of modern day life. One read and you’ll not only know how to shake hands properly but also how to tie a tie and use chopsticks – not at the same time of course.
Being well groomed is essential and of course, there are a couple pointers in the book on how to do just that. In the end, it’s all about a neat appearance and nothing can destroy that vibe more than untidy hair.
If you’ve been following my “stuff I’ve tried” posts you would have seen that this Johnny’s chop shop pommade made an appearance in the July issue as one of my favourite hair styling products.
