Fancy Friday in Polka Skulls and Polka Dots

Full-lengthmedium-shot---openSo today was horrible day in CT, the storm of death threatened the whole day and by the time we got to take some pics the rain has started. Lame!

Either way, I had one plan today and that was to pair up that polka dot shirt with the argyle tie, the tie had some fine red details and I knew it would pick up nicely on the shirt. The black pants felt like the best choice to talk to the black in the tie, and the brown blazer because once AGAIN!!! I wanted to wear my brown brogues.

If you don’t yet have a pair of chocolate brown brogues, take it from me, they are the most versatile item you can have in your wardrobe, they seem to win over every other shoe I own…every single time!

Anyway, the rest of the outfit became a matter of detailing, after all, this is fancy friday and it’s about being as dapper as you can be, so the lapel flower spoke to the tie and the polka skull pocket square helped to pick up on the black pants. Simple right?

Speaking of details, here are some close ups.
