Full-Length So for some reason I’ve been obsessed with grey and black lately, with a little blue thrown in, you know for colour.

It’s such a simple combination that always works, the hard part is keeping it interesting, so how can we?

Well, my trick is texture and pattern….pretty much always. On this particular outfit it was a matter of degrees to be honest as everything was so slight in it’s difference. Now you either want to completely separate the textures and make them quite bold which can be quite tricky! Or, as I have keep them similar enough to blend and different enough to create separation.

It also comes down to details, in this case the club collar (also known as a golf collar and I’ve also heard it being referred to as a peter pan collar) and the brogue loafer combination. When you’re wearing shoes this “loud” you don’t want them to fight with the rest of your outfit, which is why I kept it quite simple.

Here are the details:

Okay. Stay fancy.
