So, every now and then Misha comes home with a fashion faux pas story about a guy she spotted earlier that day. The story usually starts with “someone should really tell him” or “if only he knew”, and really, some of the stuff even surprises me and I end up wishing I knew.
I thought it would be awesome to share some of these ‘insider tips’. Sure, we don’t dress the way we dress for anyone else, except that we kinda do, and I don’t know about you, but I’d rather know what makes a lady cringe and do my best to avoid it.
We’ve called this section Gurl Guides. Yes I know, catchy : ) – Misha chose it.
This first one is all hers, and there will be more along the way, short and sweet with a little bit of fashion advice from a female point of view. However, this is your chance to contribute to WMBW, gurls! If you have any pet peeves or dislikes, stuff that you just wish men knew ladies loved, or hated, we’d love to feature your advice here.

Misha: Hi guys! Wow, it’s kinda weird blogging here from a guest perspective, I’m so used to being behind the WMBW scenes. Anyhoo, yay! This is something I’ve wanted to do for an age, and after much pestering from Serg, I finally put my back into it and decided to get it done. After all, it’s for the greater good, right? Saving the world from bad fashion, one man at a time.
This is such an easy one to get right, blokes.
1. Wear a watch
2. Make sure your watch fits snugly. It’s not a bracelet.
3. It doesn’t have to be expensive or flash, but make sure it goes with most of what’s in your wardrobe.
4. Don’t be late. Ever. We hate that even more than we hate bad watches.
Personally, I’m not a fan of overly plastic sporty looking watches. Garmins should be reserved for training and not used as a fashion statement to tell everyone you’re [more than likely] a runner or cyclist. Leave it at home. With your trainers. Some of my favourite male watch brands include Uniform Wares (Serg got me onto that), Panerai and Michael Kors.
