Nothing like wearing something new uh?
I picked up some new stuff while getting ready for the GQ thing, and what better way to launch it than a #FancyFriday, after all, it’s business as usual now isnt it. Yes it is. And I was in a very businessey type of mood, looking to go very classic.
Black, blue and grey a re classic and pretty much mix and match in any combination, well excepting a black shirt, no one should wear a black shirt unless they’re Bradley Cooper, and even Bradley Cooper should only wear it in Vegas, on the set of the hangover.
Anyway, there was some amazing green going on in that tie, and of course I had the perfect green matching pocket square. Dont forget, your pocket square should compliment your tie, not match it.
Here are some details:
For those of you maybe trying to recreate this look, or part of it, try this:
Blazer from Topman
Shirt from Gap
Highlander tie from LVJ Haberdasher
Grey lapel flower from River Island – no longer available online or anything similar
Green polka dot pocket square from ASOS – get similar online here
Green tie clip form Thetiebar.com
Black Woolen skinny pants from Ben Sherman (available at Stuttafords) – Get simlilar online here
Blue and black brogues from Ted Baker (available at Stuttafords) – Get similar online here
Okay. Stay Fancy.

Great post. If you are looking for great lapel flowers. I would suggest http://www.thecarrawayconcept.com. The company sells vintage pieces, but their lapel flowers are amazing.
Thanks for sharing! Those are AWESOME!!
