Full-lengthSo when I started putting this outfit together I wanted to take a braver step with my pants game and use these light blue skinny chinos I had bought at the stuttafords sale earlier in the week. I’m not usually one for pastels but I thought it’s time to mix it up a little.

I wanted to immediately make them less baby blue by pairing them with a white shirt which helped lighten the colour overall and make them appear a little less pastelish. After that it became a game of how much blue can I get away with, and so buy using different (and matching) shades we ended up here.

medium-shotThe big trick was integrating the black (as brown would of just made the blue pop all over again – not sure why, but something tells me it would, there’s probably a scientific reason or something) So I made sure the smallest details are paired up with the belt, shoes, watch strap and tie clip.
