Fancy Friday in Black and Blue

So when I started putting this outfit together I wanted to take a braver step with my pants game and use these light blue skinny chinos I had bought at the stuttafords sale earlier in the week. I’m not usually one for pastels but I thought it’s time to mix it up a little.

I wanted to immediately make them less baby blue by pairing them with a white shirt which helped lighten the colour overall and make them appear a little less pastelish. After that it became a game of how much blue can I get away with, and so buy using different (and matching) shades we ended up here.

The big trick was integrating the black (as brown would of just made the blue pop all over again – not sure why, but something tells me it would, there’s probably a scientific reason or something) So I made sure the smallest details are paired up with the belt, shoes, watch strap and tie clip.
